The Red Oak tree that produced the wood for this board was felled near Muskegon, MI. This board has a ton of character through out, including the holes and cracks filled with table top epoxy. The live edges turned out really nice on the board. I think you will love it.
The entire piece was sanded to 220 grit and topped with a food safe product called Odie’s Oil. Celebrate the live of the fallen giant with usable art of the Ash tree in your house. Rest assured that the board has been treated with a food safe finish.
