Table made with Juniper wood. The small table measures 18” tall x 19” wide that tapers down to 17” and 36” long. I kept the design simple so the wood could tell its own story. So many interesting features in this table. It is nearly a live edge table all the way around it with the exceptions of the table ends and one side of a single leg. The branch ends were left in and the holes were not filled with epoxy so that the table could be an experienced seen and felt.
Juniper is a very rot resistant wood and this table could be used outdoors for many years. As added protection, I put three coats of polyurethane on the legs and underside of the table with five coats on the top where the UV rays are the toughest on things. This bench is sturdy and able to withstand the test of time.
